Urología Nuevo Prado is a specialized urology clinic based in Iquique, Chile, led by the renowned Venezuelan urologist brothers, Hendrix and Jorge May. As new professionals in the city, they established this brand to enhance their visibility, connect with patients, and rapidly grow their practice.

 

Their brand focus is on providing exceptional medical care and maintaining the highest professional standards in all areas of urological treatment. The visual brand aims to represent these values and create an iconic and recognizable image of what they do.

03. Objectives

1. Ideate a visual concept for the brand.

2. Create a new typography for the logo.

3. Choose a medical color palette.

4. Design all the stationery needed.

 

04. Design

A professional, modern style with minimalist lines should predominate, without ornaments and seeking synthesis. Graphics of both typography and icons evoke elements that have to do with medicine and urology.

 

The B concept was the final choice, a reticle was applied to the concept to generate armonic proportions.

The typography will be sans serif, modern, and minimalist. Using capital letters to define the serious and professional character in balance with lowercase letters, resembling the use in medications and other medical applications, this is the case of the Neue Hass Grotsk font family and also the custom font for the logo.
